In my humble opinion, survival preparedness is overrated. I've seen The Walking Dead and it doesn't look like much fun. Why would I fight to stay alive when every corner turned is the potential to be disemboweled and feasted upon? And even if you're faster or stronger than the zombies, you still have to be around a lot of blood and guts and brains and stuff. Ew. I don't even like it when I have to touch the wetness on the paper towel dispenser after I've washed my hands in a public restroom. You think I'm going to proactively stab a lumbering, rotting corpse through his gross, decaying eye hole? Think again.

Honestly, I'd just rather get taken out in the first round. But I know there are some of you who are staunch survivalists. So go ahead and buy a few of these bugout bags and start stockpiling food, water and stabbing instruments to your heart's content. And if the time comes and you change your mind, I'll be over here, teetering ever-so-close to the roof ledge of this very tall building.
