We received the dark blue version, which has a purplish undertone which our daughter absolutely loves. It is very well made. It is mostly comprised of outer shell plastic, however the wheels are rubberized. It charges fairly quickly and it is easy to turn on / off and maneuver (please make sure you can balance very well or you will seriously hurt yourself). It has LED lights in front and on the wheels. The front lights turn on as per which direction is activated for motion. The locations where feet are placed are also textured rubber as antislip and stability. The unit was perfectly packaged with thorough instructions, and it is a bit heavy (this is a fairly larger unit). It can hold up to 160lbs. It can travel at a speed of up to 7 miles per hour (that's quite quick). Also the battery holds up for approximately 3 miles of use - its great longevity. This is truly a great pick that is decently priced, and with care should last years of use. However, like with all rechargeable electronics there will come a point where battery life will be a problem. Be conginzant of recharging habits.
