Cellular only, no Sim cards to mess with it saves a lot of money as well. Because of the smart capture, you can obviate Part of the picture so if there is a leaf or a stick blowing in the breeze giving you pictures you don’t really need. This saves you the trip to go and clear brush and reset up the camera.

Bad cameras
By tergre591 on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2025
Extremely disappointed with these cameras. The initial set up was easy with a cell connection, and that's nice. The first 3months they worked fine, but then went downhill from there. One of the cameras started draining batteries at a rapid rate. Contacted tech support and they said an item within view was causing multiple misfires, so we removed the object, the problem subsided for a couple weeks, then resurfaced. Contacted tech support again and they said to change the batteries back to the Eveready Alkaline (we started with Alkaline, but after the onset of battery life issues, had changed to the lithium) The camera is now draining all batteries rapidly (within hours) and not taking pictures. The other camera we had placed in a different location started exhibiting the same behavior, (draining all batteries rapidly and not taking pictures) went through the same troubleshooting with tech support to no avail. We have gone through 100+ batteries in a month. Paid for the annual plan and there is no refund available for the remaining 7 months! Ultimately, Moultrie support is terrible. Their hold time on their support line is horrendous and they just kept telling me to change the batteries and restart the camera. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
