Top positive review
They really do slip on easily and they are comfortable
By Ron in Cleveland on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2025
I bought these shoes because I have difficulty bending over to put on my shoes. This particularly is an issue when visiting friends who ask guests to take off their shoes when entering their home. So I purchased these shoes particularly for that reason. I can step out of my shoes by stepping on the back of one shoe with the other. I then leave the shoes by the entry door and step into them when I leave. And due to their design, they are not loose when walking. I did not really anticipate that the shoes would be very comfortable, or that they would be stable so as to help with my balance when walking. But they do both of those things. As a result, I also purchased the tennis shoe version and had the same result. They now have become my go to shoes unless something dressier, etc. is required. Therefore I recommend them highly, and not just for folks like me who have physical limitations.

Updated -- Love these shoes, but one tiny issue for me
By HibsMax on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2024
Update (original review below). I am bumping these down to 3 stars because of the overly aggressive sole grooves. If you will wear these in the city or somewhere else where you will never encounter small stones, these are 5-star shoes. For me though, I have to pry out small stones from the soles after every single walk. At first, I was OK with that, but now it just bugs me to no end. Our paved drive is connected to civilization via a dirt road and I walk that way every time I go on walks, go to the mailbox, take the puppy out, etc. It wasn't until I stopped to think, "I've walked up this road for years with all sorts of shoes, including walking/hiking shoes and boots, and never have I had to pry stones out from the sole every single time". I've attached one picture showing some stones, but sometimes the back two groves can be filled from side to side. These soles are just stupid; there's no need for the grooves to be this wide. These shoes are great. I keep them by my front door for puppy potty breaks and walks. These are my first slip-ons and they work as advertised. My only issue is our house (driveway) connects to civilization via a dirt road and these shoes have wide grooves in the soles. After every fungus walk, I need to pry stones out of the soles. That gets a little annoying. I have to do that so that if I wear my shoes indoors, I don’t scratch the hardwood floors. I don’t know why the sole grooves are so huge? I haven’t seen that pattern on any other shoes. This “flaw” (IMO) is not enough to bump down to 4-stars, but I would rate these as 4.5 if I could. If you never walk on a dirt lane, you’ll rarely have this problem.
