Small water bottle but can’t forget AIWA..

This aiwa brand brings me back my walkman memory so I decided to give it a try even it looks ridiculous, water bottle combined with speaker. It came with a little scrach on the speaker base and rubber wrap between bottle and speaker doesn't feel very good quality, also water bottle is smaller than I expected. The sound quality of speaker and earphone isn't too bad since I wasn't even expected too much with it. Although it's using micro usb instead of usb c even it's a pretty new product. Somehow I still like it even there are many thing not my favorite because they are all acceptable and more important it is AIWA...that brings me back my childhood memory.

THE GOOD: --------------- * You might have heard of this Aiwa brand from your childhood in the 80's and 90's. * 400ml equals 13.5 ounces, a soda can is 12 ounces. * Built in speakers with bonus headphones. * 8 hours playtime when fully charged. * Bluetooth connectivity. * Micro sd card slot to play music from a card. * All controls are at the bottom. * Price makes this a unique novelty gift. THE BAD: ------------- * Micro-usb charging port, instead of usb-c. Micro-usb tips gets damaged all the time. USB-C is the standard now. * Essentially all treble, no bass. I collect novelty speakers like the ones designed to look like retro radios. I don't expect much from them, but many times they surprise me with a very rich sound. So I figure if no name companies can make decent novelty speakers, surely Aiwa can! I'm sad to report that's not the case here. This is surprising, since Aiwa is a company that specialized in stereos once upon a time. How good can a water bottle sound? Whatever low expectations you have, it'll be the correct expectations. Watch my video, which is for a light blue version, but it's the same product. I grabbed a few of these as stocking stuffers. I'll go 3-Stars overall.
