18 in 1 Multi Tool Survival Gear

Ordered this for $8 and that seems about right. This is essentially a pair of folding pliers with some additional subpar tools that fold into the handle. None of the tools lock, which is a significant negative. Unlike most multitools, the additional functions are all on a single side of each of the handles and are only available when unfolded in pliers mode. Despite arriving well lubricated (perhaps overly so), the tools are unusually difficult to pry out (at least to start). On the plus side, unlike other super cheap multitools, the pliers have a spring and don't have uncomfortable ridges on the handle. But, the tool selection is bare bones and, apart from a decently sharp small knife, nothing remarkable. This item is slightly smaller than most of these tools and seems lighter, too -- which could be a pro or a con, depending on if we are talking weight or durability. It seems thinner than most when in the pouch, too, which is kind of nice. Definitely a get what you pay for proposition. Not junk, but not a great value, either.
