For once, something that actually lives up to the TV hype...
By Tahoe Vegetarian on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2012
Like most people, I'm inherently skeptical of infomercials, paid spokespeople and the products they hype. Ditto for the "try it for one month, if you're not delighted send it back for a full refund, etc., etc." spiel. But, based on my own experience using the EP-560, I can write with total, heartfelt conviction that it is an exception to the rule. IT REALLY WORKS. A bit of background, if I may. I started having problems with sciatic nerve pain at work a couple of years ago. I'm in my fifties and work 11 hours a day on my feet as a restaurant operations manager. I have enough on my plate already (if you'll pardon the pun) without having to deal with chronic pain on top of everything else. Losing 40+ lbs in the process of becoming a vegetarian helped to alleviate my sciatic nerve problems somewhat, but they still persited, even after I started a daily regimen of agressive stretching exercises. Last summer, after seeing the EP-560 advertised on TV in an infomercial, I decided to look into purchasing one. I was turned off by the bombastic approach of the Teeter website, but upon doing some internet research discovered that the Teeter Hangup units are indeed the most favorably reviewed of the several brands of gravity inversion tables that are on the market. I decided to purchase an EP-560 through Amazon, and as usual was pleased with how my purchase was processed and expedited. After receiving the EP-560, I set aside some time on a day off to put it together. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the materials used in fabricating the unit, and in its sturdy construction in general. I was not impressed by the set-up instructions as they are printed in very small type, and are not easy to follow. But I took my time and after a couple of hours I had the unit put together, double-checked and ready to use. Now, after having used the EP-560 on a daily basis for the past 2 1/2 months, I am a true believer in gravity inversion therapy, not only as a method of dealing with sciatic nerve pain, but as a method of improving one's physical well-being as well. In addition to being virtually free of the chronic pain that had been plaguing me, my posture is better and my flexibility has increased markedly. More importantly, I JUST ENJOY USING IT. I look forward to my daily upside-down time, and always feel more relaxed, centered and just better in general after a session on the EP-560. I would wholeheartedly recommend the unit to anyone looking for an economical and practical way of dealing with back pain. As the song goes, "I'm a believer."

It is okay.

Okay but not balanced for my height on the scale. Forgot to hookup the strap and went all the way over and almost did not make it upright from being exhausted trying. Ended up adjusting it about 7cm taller. Do not care much for the latch for the ankles. Going to add a lever to press it tighter without having to almost stand on my head to get one more hole. Gave my old one to a friend in need. It was easy to tighten the ankle locks from a slight bend. I added a 3" block to the cross piece so I can, if I want to, go all the way upside down. This prevents it from being such a pain in getting upright even after adjustment for height. Should have sent it back but too much of a pain to take apart and pack up.
