Hover-1 Helios Folding Electric Scooter

Hover 1, Helios Electric Foldable Scooter. My son got this scooter for Christmas and used it once to take it to his friend's house a mile away. He had to walk home because the rear tire was flat. We tried to pump it up but it continued to lose air. We contacted customer support, not once, but twice because we thought they misunderstood our complaint that the scooter was defective. They informed us that the tire was not part of the warranty. I could understand if we had misused it and run over some glass or a nail, but this was fresh out of the box! We bought an air pump just in case it was just the seal and that is when we found out it was actually the stem, not the tire itself. I've tried to call numerous times but they are not answering calls. Your only option is to email them. They don't even give you an opportunity to talk to a live person. How they can run a company like this and stay in business, .....I have no idea. Be smart, buy it from someone else. There are many other companies that would like your business. They told me to return it through Amazon, but with the early purchase for Christmas and delay in email response that return period ran out and you have to pay for the return of a 50lb scooter. :/ I am not one to complain so this is really uncomfortable for me, but honestly, this is NOT acceptable. This is the worst $350 purchase I have ever made. Do yourself a favor.........DO NOT BUY THIS SCOOTER! The clearly do not back their product! Signed, ..... a very unhappy customer!!!
