A Game Changer for Tall and Light Sleepers!
By Kristian Skarsfeldt on Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2023
I have finally found my holy grail of camping gear - the AIRELAX Sleeping Pad! As a tall individual standing at 6'5 and weighing 220lbs, finding a comfortable camping mattress has always been a struggle. But let me tell you, this self-inflating gem is an absolute game changer! First and foremost, the size is perfect for us tall folks. The extra length and width of the AIRELAX pad ensured that my feet no longer dangled off the edge during the night. It's like having a luxurious, full-sized bed in the great outdoors! I can stretch out without feeling cramped, and that alone made a world of difference in my camping experience. When I first unpacked the pad, I was a bit skeptical about the "self-inflating" claim. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and quick the inflation process was. It only took a few minutes to fully inflate, and I didn't even need to break a sweat. Gone are the days of huffing and puffing to blow up a manual air mattress - AIRELAX does all the work for you! The real magic, though, lies within the inner foam layer. Not only does it add an extra layer of support, but it also provides a heavenly cushioning that cradles your body as you sleep. As a light sleeper, I often wake up with a sore back after a night of camping. But with the AIRELAX Sleeping Pad, those days are long gone. I woke up feeling rested and refreshed, ready to take on the day's adventures. Another fantastic feature is the durability of this pad. Despite my heavier weight, it held up flawlessly throughout the camping trip. The rugged materials and well-crafted design make it a reliable companion for all types of outdoor excursions. I have no doubt that it will withstand many more camping trips to come. As an added bonus, the AIRELAX Sleeping Pad is surprisingly lightweight and easy to pack. The compression straps and carrying bag make transportation a breeze, and it doesn't take up much space in my backpack. In conclusion, if you're a tall individual and a light sleeper like myself, the AIRELAX Sleeping Pad is an absolute must-have. It provides the comfort and support you need for a restful night's sleep in the great outdoors. No more restless nights or waking up with aches and pains! I wholeheartedly recommend this mattress to anyone looking to elevate their camping experience. Thank you, AIRELAX, for creating a product that truly understands the needs of us taller and pickier sleepers. You've earned a lifelong customer in me! Happy camping, everyone!

Edit: Great while it lasted :(
By Zena Kitty on Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2023
I bought this to use with my cot when out on wildfires or at festivals. So far, I've used it several times for about 30 nights total, and I can't tell you how much I love this! It's super easy to inflate and stays inflated. It really is 4" thick when inflated! The only issue I have with it--and this has nothing to do with the mattress itself, but rather physics--is when I leave it in my trunk during the summer (I'm on call and need to be ready for immediate deployment), the heat causes it to inflate, straining against the straps and pump sack/carry bag. Because of this, I made a soft burlap bag to carry it in. This protects both the pump sack/carry bag and allows the mattress some room for inflation. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. Super comfy for my old bones, lightweight, and easy to carry. Edit: This camping pad lasted me almost the entire 2023 fire season. Super comfortable, whether sleeping in a cot, the floor of my tent, or in the back of my truck. However, with one week to go, it stopped holding air. I spent the last week basically just sleeping on the thin memory foam. I couldn't find the source of the leak, so I tossed it. I spent probably close to 12 weeks using it, so I'm not terribly disappointed with it, but it would have been nice if it lasted longer. I've since replaced it with a 3" memory foam pad that doesn't need inflating.
