I normally don’t do reviews, but I’ve been waiting 2 years to be able to buy the transparent blue Ray Bans. I was super excited to get them in today, only finding out after I opened the box and took the sunglasses out that they were a different color. I ended up getting the transparent green ones instead, I’m very upset and not happy about it at all. Now I have to wait even longer to get the blue ones in cause of the manufacturer’s mistake, so if they make this right I might do another review but if not then this one is the only one I’m doing. I’m giving this maybe 3 stars and that’s for them getting delivered a day before I was suppose to get them.

However, all yellow lenses kind of do is make everything look, well, yellow.So, when I first tried these Ray-Ban 2140 Wayfarers in translucent lilac with *orange* lenses, I knew right away that I had found a way to restore warmth, depth, and contrast to the almost continuous string of blah winter days here in Pittsburgh.These are the real deal, Hand Made in Italy from Italian acetate and crystal glass, 1N lenses.I wear these driving and indoors at work all day long. Like many work places, mine is awash in LED ceiling lights. These Wayfarers again warm up the view and restore depth and contrast.If you’re a guy and wondering about the frame color, keep in mind that I’m 6’ and 220 lbs - no-one has made a sideways remark yet. Quite the contrary.I bought an extra pair on sale that I keep tucked away in case anything happens to these.100% recommended
