Excellent Travel/Car Camping blanket

Ok where to start,This blanket is much larger then I expected. Even though I read the measurements and even converted them to feet but still when I got it i was like wow thats a big bag for an outdoor blanket. it covers a full size bed no problem you could feasibly use this as a comforter for your personal bed in colder climate's for sure. My son and I used this blanket on a trip to Disneyland as our main blanket while sleeping on the pullout couch bed on different days at our hotel. My son is 6'2" and I'm 5'11" this blanket had us covered and warm when we used it. My son said it was perfect for him when he used it but he said he also had the AC running on full blast while he was sleeping. When I slept with it I was over heating the whole night so I was constantly taking it off and putting it back on.Neither of us noticed the noise the blanket does make to the point that it kept us awake, this blanket is loud but its warm and its supposed to be highly water resistant so I will trade the loud sound for water resistance for sure. For me at least its hard to describe the sound but I would describe it as a potato chip bag in between a blanket. Again not a deal break for me for others more "sensitive" ears or lighter sleepers I would consider a wool blanket. The blanket did show up in its "packed" bag and it was big I would seriously consider this blanket for colder weather maybe not sub zero but definitely low teens for sure. BUT the size of this blanket is probably best relegated for Car camping, Primitive cabin, or Towed RV or even RV use. I mean you could use this in a family/group camping scenario as well for sure with larger tents but I do not recommend this blanket in any scenario where space is limited or a determining factor. Overall I highly recommend this blanket, I'm even considering buying another one if it goes on sale again for sure!

You like potato chips?

Pros: Warm, soft fabric on one side.Cons: Too large to be considered "packable" even when compressed, and the water resistant membrane within the blanket is noisy, like a potato chip bag. Every move is noisy.I consider this a tent floor blanket for car camping, but not for backpacking.
