It sounded too good to be true but gave it a try and was extremely surprised with quality of the product. It is a perfect gift for an outdoors person or in your survival kit. Has almost everything you need for immediate survival/need items. It is compact and light weight. I like the number of straps, hooks to use it in any way one can use (backpack strap or on belt etc). Def would recommend it to keep in your bag or in car.

The compass was broken already. The needle was separated and random floating around in the water. The pen was broken. It felt very cheaply made to begin with. The best thing about this kit is the bag itself. Other than that, you'd be better off piecing together your own kit.
