Great scooter for older kid!!

We bought this scooter for my seven year old when he outgrew his previous scooter. We chose this one because of the size and because it folds. We were taking a family vacation and wanted to bring a scooter with us. The fact that it folds was super helpful for our vacation. We’ve had the scooter for two months now and it has held up really well. My child loves riding it and it seems very high quality. He is approximately 51 inches tall and we have the handlebar height adjusted to the middle section so it should be able to last for him for quite a while longer. He loves how it lights up on the handlebar and on the running board, the handlebars have nice thick rubber grips, and the wheels are nice and big. The only downside is that it is really hard to fold which can be frustrating. It doesn’t really bother us now because we don’t fold it often anymore now that we are home from vacation. But that was a little bit difficult dealing with when we were folding it often. However I still think the scooter is well worth the buy and is great quality for the money.

Falls apart with use

We purchased two of these scooters, one for each daughter. After just over one month of use (and just barely outside of the return window), the screw fell out of one of the handle stems while it was being ridden. We screwed it back in, but it fell out again a few days later and the handlebar popped off mid-ride (thankfully my daughter was able to bail and avoid injury). The screw had obviously fallen out during the ride because it was nowhere to be found when the actual handlebar came off. We brought it to a bike shop to get repaired and it fell apart again less than a week later. At first I chalked it up to bad luck, but now the same thing happened with the second scooter and we cannot find the screw anywhere. Obviously a poor design, and dangerous that the handlebar can come off during use. We're very dissatisfied that neither of these scooters are functional after less than six months of semi-regular but not rough use.
