Good Bike, Intuitive Control, Solid
By Brian Hudson on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2023
I mainly got on here to praise the joyride company (they're the only meaningful brand behind these bikes). I had an issue with my bike - due to an accident, the wire to the electric motor was severed. After attempting to have the wire repaired, I came to understand that the whole motor (for reasons I won't get into here) needed to be replaced. After some difficulty actually reaching Joyride, I finally got in touch with them. They made things right with me 100%. I like this bike too quite a bit. It's attractive and works well.

Cheap Bike that will Require Constant Work
By Davis Jones on Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2022
I wouldn't recommend this bike. It's cheap and that means more work for you. I've had issues with: • The breaking system • The chain coming undone • The kickstand ...and I've just owned it for about a month. On top of that, it wasn't particularly easy to set up and, if you don't do the setup properly, you could be in for a very dangerous situation. I wouldn't buy this again. UPDATE: MOTOR DIED The motor died today, so this bike is completely done. I’m not a big guy (185 pounds), so I don’t think that I was working this bike especially hard.

Great e bike for starting out

I've really enjoyed this bike so far. Everything is well built and the battery lasts long too. It has pedal assist and a throttle so cycling is really convenient, especially for commuting. It also cycles great when it isn't turned on as it is pretty lightweight. The light is bright and works well too. I highly recommend this e bike, especially at this low price.
Stongly recommend changing the locking O ring out for locking plugs on the handle bars

This is a 2 week review. I took this bike out for the inaugural ride a week and a half ago, it went great for about 9 miles when the locking O ring at the end of the handlebars either came loose or was missing to begin with and the right hand grip slipped causing me to put all my weight on my right foot as that was the petal that was down this of course caused me to kick the wheels out from under me because of physics. This wouldn't have been to big a problem on a standard bike, however on a motorized bike with cruise control set to 20m.p.h. means I was hit the asphalt really really really hard. When I looked at it it appears that the hand grip has 2 half inch wide tongues on both sides of the grip on the inside part it locks into either the break or the throttle control, on the outside however the locking O ring rests on this plastic bit instead of on the handlebar itself meaning that there is nothing truly stopping the hand grip from sliding off the handle bars. (this is incredibly dangerous and possibly deadly, and is a horrible design.) Other than that though I have been loving this bike it caps out at 20 M.P.H. the body is well build and looks great I get a ton of comments on it and everyone thinks I spent over $1k on the bike in stead of $500. It's definitely good bang for the buck, though I almost recommend you switch out just about everything lol. The gear ratio also sucks if you are an experienced bicyclist you are going to be irritated when you try to petal and it's laughable that the motor has a pedal assist since the motor can't keep up when i use petal power. I am definitely getting a bigger cog. at least 36t possible 52t if I can. But since the frame and the electric hub is the thing you want for the price this a great buy even if you change out everything.
My biggest complaint is the battery

This is my first E-Bike and for a starter Electric bike it's pretty good. I actually enjoy riding and using the pedal assist. The ride is a little rocky due to no kind of shock or impact absorption on either the front wheel or frame so you will feel every bump. Still, optimistically the ride isnt that bad. MEN.... Make sure you adjust the seat or replace it because it can um.... Bruise the boys. My biggest complaint is that even after an all day charge and only riding on the "1" setting of pedal assist and without using the throttle I only get about an hour of powered ride. Again, this being my first E-Bike I don't know what the industry standard is but I'd imagine 1 hour on the lowest pedal assist setting is kind of lacking. I AM excited to get my money's worth out of this one so I can buy a more advanced model but for now this one will do. I just recommend keeping the charger with you because it's a little hard to pedal after the charge is depleted. Oh, and the power indicator isn't to be trusted. It'll show you 2-3 bars of power but cut off dead.
Great bike for the price!

I live in the flatlands, so I don't need gears, shocks, or a strong motor. This basic, fun bike does the trick and looks good doing it. The throttle zips you to 20 mph pretty quick. In fact, I'll probably use the throttle more than the pedals, because with a fixed-gear bike, pedaling at 20 mph is silent-movie silly. The company was responsive when I had a question about the assembly Overall, easy to assemble though. Great bike for the price.

I've owned this bike for about 5 months now. I'm impressed. Im 6 ft 1 and weigh 233 lbs, fits me fine. Goes up to 20 mph in pedal assist and in full throttle. Battery has not failed me yet. Actually I ride it to and from my job which is 13 miles, up a few hills. It has enough pep and power to climb. And like I said, I have never killed the battery in any trip. I use it mostly in pedal assist with the occasional throttle only. Very good buy. I see the price is going up.
Easy assembly for the most part

Absolute terrible experience with this vendor, buyer beware

Bike arrived damaged. Right front fork was bent. Controller did not work. Even though the bike arrived damaged or defective, vendor will not pay return shipping on return. Shipping on a worthless bike is about $200 for individuals by UPS. Buyer beware! Update 8/2022. Even though the Amazon Vendor, 365 Cycles was worthless, Joyride Bikes, the manufacturer, made everything right, going the extra mile. The bike, one the lightest E-Bikes on the market, runs fine, ,and is a blast to ride
