Favorite Finesse fishing braid
By Isaac Engle on Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2023
Fish a lot of strike king lures ans opted to try this braid (8lb) on my spinning reels. It's a quality braid without breaking the bank, one of the best values I've found in awhile and it's occasionally on sale here. I live the smaller diameter in the lower pound tests. It's not too thick and comes off the spool well. I will note that I fish this stuff exclusively on spinning reels. The hi vis yellow is a great color and I've had zero issues with a fluro leader. I'll put this up against finesse specific braids such as Daiwa j braid and the kast king version. No issues and a good price.

Won't use with artificial baits
By James L. on Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2024
Strong braid. I've landed countless Texas slot redfish (20-28") on it, but I find that wind knots are more of an issue with this braid than any other braid that I use with soft plastics, spoons, and top-waters. I have several of the same Penn Fierce III 4000 rod/reel spinning combos, all outfitted with 20lb braid and 30lb mono leaders. I now only use this braid on the rod set-up for cutbait to mitigate the wind-knot issue. Fewer casts and retrieves means fewer wind knots.
