Good, solid shoe. Definitely recommend.

Now I don’t run, so if you’re looking for an expert review on that, I’m not your guy. Saucony came recommended to me by a running coach I know and had reached out to about buying a solid show for daily use. Between work and walking the dog a few times a day, I can put 17,000 to 23,000 steps in during the busy time. And if I was a marathon runner, I’d be classified up in the Clydesdale range. Way up. Originally picked up a pair of Ride on Woot in a sweetheart open box deal. Those shoes, and a pair of Brooks Caldera got me through last year. This year I picked up a pair of Ride and a pair of Guide on Amazon. Very happy with both. And when I get a chance, I’ll probably get a new pair of the Brooks Caldera also. I figure I’m buying last seasons model and that’s fine. The price is right. And honestly, if money weren’t an issue, I’d have no problem paying full price for the current version. If you spend a lot of time on your feet and just want a comfortable daily shoe, these are great.

I like them a lot, BUT... (Updated Review)
By Kenny FL on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2023
These seem to be very good stability shoes for overpronation, and they have more cushion than the ASICS that I usually get. They are lightweight and they look good too. I was thinking of getting a second pair. but then, after a week or so, the left shoe developed a loud "pop" with every step taken on hard smooth surfaces. I read that this is likely caused by some of the inner layers separating, so as far as I can see there is no fix for it. Based on that, I'm very hesitant about buying another pair. Wish that hadn't happened, I really like them otherwise. One other small problem is the tongue doesn't have a loop on the top to run the shoestrings through to hold it up, so it slides forward when you put them on. Anyway, I thought I found my new favorite sneakers, but am now apprehensive. Dang. Update: After two months, now the second shoe makes the loud popping noise with each step. Doesn't make the noise on carpet, so now I wear these around the house but not out. Have to downgrade a star based on that. Otherwise, I still like the shoes - but it's hard to recommend them based on that popping sound noise.
