Great brand and shoe design however color is off . . .
By Bill Barnshaw on Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2016
I've only had these shoes for about 2 days so I can't comment on how well they will wear and last. This is my second pair of OluKai's and I love the brand and overall style. They are extremely comfortable and are dressy enough to wear with jeans and a dress shirt. Too casual for a suit. My only negative comment about this particular shoe is the color is off. I ordered the Storm Gray and in the picture it in fact looks gray however in person they are much closer to a dark brown. The only time they look remotely gray is in bright sunlight otherwise they are a closer to brown. My other negative is the sizing but I knew this going into this shoe. I'm normally a size 11 however in OluKai I wear a size 10.5 and even with the 10.5, I have to wear socks. They are a little loose barefoot. I knew his however based on my other OluKai's so I ordered one size down. Overall a great shoe at a great price. If I could give a 4.5 based on color I would but the overall style and comfort made me round up to 5 stars.

Comfortable to stand in, uncomfortable to walk in
By Dan on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2016
After initially being impressed with the overall appearance, I was let down after a couple of days of wearing these shoes. I wear a size 10.5 but heeded the advice of the reviews and ordered a half-size down, a 10. Here are my findings after wearing them: 1. They feel loose and tight at the same time. 2. The strap that goes through the tongue is not padded or sewn in so I could feel it digging into my skin. 3. The toe area is too wide and this makes it almost impossible to walk with the heel down as the shoe feels like it will fly off. 4. The shoe is sized right with the heel up but feels too small with the heel down. 5. With the heel up, the shoe would not stay on my heel as I walked, which resulted in a flip fop noise. The only pro is that they are comfortable when you are just standing there. The insoles are removable and the foot pad arae is made of a less denser foam than the arch area to provide comfort and support.
