UVBrite Go Self-Cleaning UV Water Bottle

I recently bought and received this water bottle and decided to try tap water. Now, I’m very weary about something like this. I know UV is powerful and can kill germs and whatnot, but tape water? Come on. I can understand streams and rivers, but tap water has all these chemicals like bleach and fluoride and who knows what else in it, so I’m more than weary.I am now changing my review of the bottle as all the negative reviews about this product are true. One, they do not respond to support emails. They responded once and I asked them another question and they did not answer that one at all. So I sent them another email telling them to please respond as I have another issue with this water bottle. We will see and I will report back here with another update.Now, after only a week, my water bottle cap is blinking green and purple and will no longer clean the water at all. At this point, I decided that it probably needs charging. After only one week? On a full charge? Nah, I said, they said it would last a month at least on one charge in their claims, didn't they? Oh well. I plugged it in and looked at the cap. Nada. No red light showing that it is charging. Nothing.So, all the negative reviews about this product are indeed true. #1, they don't respond to emails. #2, the cap stops working after an extremely short period of time. #3, it no longer charges after an extremely short period of time.Final review of product: DO NOT BUY! Save your money and buy another bottle from another company. I doubt this company will reimburse me with my 20 dollars (it was on sale and now I know why) and I am sure they will not send a replacement or at the very least, a replacement cap, which I can almost guarantee will also be defective, much like their whole line of products. Very poor company. VERY bad product. I will never buy another bottle from them again.
