its rated for 70lbs but can tell you that it bends under the weight of an e-bike just under 70 lbs. it then becomes hard to pull out. the rubber part on the front that goes around steering will eventually rip out ! also when you release the back part, be careful as it'll pinch your hand when the one pipe retracts into the other one which has sharp edges. wouldn't buy again but for the price, can't complain too much.
