Cheapest plates on the internet and they are worth every penny. Just solid cast iron. Why should it be any more complicated than that?

Different paint, lots of returns

The weights are fine, they're just weights. I made 13 separate orders for various sizes, some were amazon warehouse deals, some were new. If I ordered a pair of weights on a warehouse deal, they only delivered a single. Every time. With the new weights, some came with a glossy finish, some came with a "flat"(non glossy) finish. I never knew which I was going to get. I think I had do a return 6 times out of the 13 orders. I got tired of hauling weights back to UPS, so I just decided to live my mis-matched glossy and flat paint. The price varies a lot so if you wait, it may get better. You can save money on a warehouse deal, but just don't order pairs because they'll likely just send a single. If you order multiple singles, you'll get what you order. Go figure.
