The pandemic and the winter in New England motivated me to buy an encumbent bicycle. I had my adult children help to put it together. It took them a little more than an hour.

Too noisy after 5 months use

We received this recumbent bike Dec. 27 2023. Easy to put together. Loved how quiet it was until now. We called the 800# to let them know about the noise it was making. The lady said it needs lubricated. So we looked in the manual to see how to get to the pulley and the shaft to lubricate them. No directions. I emailed customer care. They said go to page 28 and it will show where it is located. I emailed again to ask how we get to it. They emailed back and said they are out of the part. It will cost $30. I emailed back and said so we have to ruin the plastic cover that covers the shaft and pulley to lubricate them. They said yes. This is after only 5 months. And to top it off they are out of the part. Plus the pulse handles never worked. They sent replacements and they didn’t work either. I’m so disappointed.
