Getting up off the ground in a truck tent is so worth it!
By Cat Martin on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2022
I mean, wherever the truck can go, I can camp! Doesn't matter if the ground is a bit bumpy, rocky or whatever since my tent and sleeping spot is high up off that ground! This tent takes a few minutes to set up, I then add a piece of egg crate foam across the bottom, then my sleeping bag. I like that this has an awning where my chair and a small folding table can stay out of rain or the hot sun of the day. Great for parking near the lake for a day of fishing or getting close to some good hiking trails and after a day out on the lake or the trails, I have a comfortable place to sleep. This tent fits my truck bed well (do be sure to check the size to see if it fits your truck), has great ventilation (I also have a solar/USB fan to help) and is definitely rain-resistant. Stores fairly small for those spur of the moment weekend trips. I would definitely recommend this to anyone (if it fits their truck bed).

Instruction for assembly are INADEQUATE. POOR QUALITY Workmanship... NOT reinforced at strappings.
By BTDT on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2023
Got it ahead of Delivery time... Box was damaged, But the Nylon bag containing the Tent and Poles appeared to be untouched. Then it went downhill from there. Instruction for assembly are INADEQUATE. Tent is of POOR QUALITY Workmanship... weak strapping, NOT reinforced at strappings. Upon trying to set the tent up I found the instructions to be very lacking.. the Letters on the diagrams were too SMALL to view without a Magnifying glass, and the Color coding for the fiberglass poles was totally wrong for one set of poles. Using deduction and comparison from a youtube video I Finally figured out which poles were which. At first try setting the tent up was confusing (THIS IS where better instructions would be useful) The poles crisscrossing the tent overlap in the middle and over the extended porch cover. Information such as telling which pole to Bend and place in the nylon holders first would be helpful (as it makes a difference which pole to place first, As a RULE, The bottom pole of the overlapping poles should be first to be placed... then the top or outer overlapping pole placed second. Anyway got the poles figured out and placed into the VERY CHEAPLY POOR QUALITY PLASTIC nylon pole holders sewn into the tent... and placed the tent on my truck to cinch it in place. ONE of the cinching straps broke... tore right out of the place where it was sewn into the tent... On further inspection you It looked like they only SINGLE sewed the straps into place... NOT double sewn or reinforced at all. These straps are supposed to secure the ten to your truck, shouldn't cut corners for these as they will take all the stress from any movement or wind pushing on the tent. I dont know if I got a ONE OFF or if this poor quality production is the norm... but I won't be buying another one. Was looking forward to camping out with the Grandsons... Very Disappointed. Returning for a refund..... Looking elsewhere for a truck tent.
