Buy it your family will love it

Buy it. Comes with an extra battery and is sooo much fun especially in the winter when we lose sunlight so early. The black wears off fast not a big because all I care is that the light continued works and it actually feels like a regular basketball. Also the price point is perfect and it is the size of a normal rec basketball

Good but…

Basketball is a really neat idea. I’ve seen it in other places for two or three times as much. But those ones have been name brand. This one is just a little “off“. It doesn’t bounce as well as I had hoped, and almost always seems just a smidge flat. It’s easy to inflate and the light is bright and my kids think it is hilarious. It’s a lot of fun at night, but not for a real game of basketball at night.
