These Coleman tents offer a more sturdy design and weather readiness that department store brands skimp on, hence the higher cost. For instance the power cord port has a zipper instead of a velcro slot that never stays closed. I find the Coleman to be more wind resistant, while still offering good ventilation. The setup is speedy, allowing for more time to setup the perfect temporary living space, and the breakdown is just as easy with some gentle care to brush of any dirt before before wrapping it up. The bag is also superior compared to other brands we've owned and makes for an easy wrapping of the tent rather than trying to stuff it into a bag. More expensive but may be worth it in the long run for the added quality. We purchased an even larger model as well.
