Now that’s a knife

Now for reference, I’m a chef. I know knifes and I love this knife.The blade length is a little on the lower end of what I typically like to carry, but its 4" edge gets the job done for almost every daily task, even in the kitchenThe knife feels good in the hand and very robust, balanced very well. The handle is real bone and horn and is securely pinned in place with brass. The edge geometry was ok and the blade was semi sharp, sharp enough to cut stuff but not hair shaving sharp, which was an easy fix. The sheath was to my surprise very well made, the leather was supple the stitching was perfect and the blade fit securely and tight with no wobble. The retaining strap is a little snug at first but I have no worries of the knife falling out.Overall im very pleased with this purchase. Again at this price point it is a beautifully crafted and unique knife, I doubt you’d find a better product for this price

Why did I get the ugly one?

Paid extra for the Rams horn grips. One side is beautiful, exactly what I wanted. The other side is well, butt ugly. Not only that, the texture is flaking off a tiny piece at a time. Of course they made sure the ugly side was the one seen while on your belt. Disappointed. The Blade is nice. Do not know if it holds an edge as I won’t wear something that looks this bad.
