Decent Starter Table - Good for Two Players but Not Four
By Sandor Clegane on Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2021
If you're looking for a kid's first foosball table, or something simple that two adults can play, this is an affordable option. The first thing worth mentioning is that each side will have three handles, unlike larger tables with four. While this one benefits from being small and portable, you're limited to only two people playing at once. Whereas two teams of two people each can normally play on the larger tables. This wasn't a problem for us, at all. But it's worth mentioning, if you're used to the larger, traditional foosball tables. Setup isn't difficult, though it's time-consuming if just one person does it. The only challenging part of assembly was getting the base/field (flat sheet of wood) perfectly into the grooves of the sides all at once. Other than that, it wasn't that hard to put together. The only tools required are a hex wrench (allen wrench), which is included, and a phillips head screwdriver (not included). I wouldn't have used a screwdriver, regardless. I did use my own to get the screws started, but used one of my cordless drills with a phillips head bit, at the lowest setting, to slowly get the screws in. In the past, I've had screws split the wood on certain kid toy sets, if my drill just barely was set too high. Didn't happen once, with this table. It was also fun bonding time with our Little Girl, who I let help me "build" the rest of the table. She had fun helping me get the washers and rings on the bars, get them inserted into the holes. So she was proud of herself for helping dad build it. Playing it was fun. It didn't take our Daughter long to get the hang of it. The bars moved smoothly, only one was slightly stiff to slide. One of the support boards was ever so slightly warped, but thankfully it didn't affect game play. We mostly play with it on the floor, and the base/field is even enough that the ball doesn't roll too much on its own. It's a nice looking table, we've gotten a few compliments on it from guests already. There are certainly better foosball tables out there. But you'd also spend two or three times as much money on one of them. I like that we're not committed to having a specific place for a big foosball table to stay it, in a particular room. I can put this one on the floor, on a table, on our kitchen island. And since it only weighs 17 pounds, it's a breeze for me to just pick up and store when not in use. Plus, when you start off with an affordable foosball table like this one, you'll get a sense of how interested your child is in playing it. If they really love it, you can always invest in a traditional standing one, down the road. If they lose interest, you still have a basic table available for friends and family once in a while. I'd recommend it, add this one to your cart if you'd like to start with something basic for now.

Poor Quality

The knob has poor quality and does not fit the rod, I do not recommend this to buy.
