Smooth ride
By Ginni on Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2022
Having been an avid spinner for years in gyms finally decided to get this echelon bike based on all the good reviews. Was packed very well and easy to put together between 2 people. The ride is amazingly smooth and the bike is solid!I see all the reviews about an uncomfortable seat, but all spin bikes have uncomfy seats, invest for minimal cost in a gel seat for better comfort. We ended up downloading the Qdomyos Zwift bike app on a tablet and the bike immediately paired with it. Great for tracking your results on each ride. I ride to U tube classes and my husband just likes a pair of earbuds and his own music. My only minor complaint is not being able to move the handlebars forward or back but of course they go up and down. The pedals come with clips and cages and the clips accepted our spin shoes perfectly. Weve been riding it daily for 3 weeks and we are very happy with this purchase!!

Delivered late and defective - awful/non exist ant support from Amazon
By Patricia on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2022
First off the product itself. - assembly was a little but of a pain - not as simple as other bikes I have owned or assembled- but not terrible just tike consuming.Packaged in a way that you cannot truly inspect the unit until youve gone through about 1/2 the assemblySo I take the 120 lb pkg upstairs to my workout room to assemble the bike and once it is to the assembly portion where I can actually turn the pedals to spin the flywheel - I can see WOW major flywheel defect - arguably one of the most critical portions of the bike that does require perfect machining for a smooth ride experience .Of course no way to contact anyone at Amazon a out it — the lively phone run around and chat bot nightmare. When selecting the item was damaged - no option to have it replaced/repaired literally my options were to return or watch how to videos — and so naturally I selected return — I can’t imagine there is a how to video of how to smooth a poorly machined flywheelTo return j have to rebid the entire thing myself and take to UPS. — unpacking/assembly was a 1-2 hr process. I have no clue how long it would take to try to repackage given the amount t of metal braces and holders have to go back on — aside from following the unpack directions backwards nothing is there to legit tel me how to box it for return .— and then what I get another one sent and have to spend another 2 hrs assembling it? Who has the time to do this on an $800 bike that has supposedly passed a QC check prior to being sentI contacted echelon service which has also proven to mot be helpful - so I guess I hope I never have a warranty issue?Honestly I am not a fan of peloton but their customer service is better than this by far - this has been my worst ever Amazon experience and Amazon should be ashamed to have marked this as a “prime” item. When return is going to require me to spend 2-3 hrs revising something putting a 120lb package into my car then taking that 130lb box out of my car carrying it into the UPS store just to return it. — especially when Amazon failed to offer any actual product support - shame on you Amazon. And shame on echelon got the poor craftsmanshipsecondly the delivery nightmare with Amazon logistics —. After SCHEDULING a delivery window — my product didn’t come and no one notified me. Per Amazon policy they would reach our proactively with any delays BEFORE the late delivery. I had to spend >1 hr on the phone with Amazon after the scheduled delivery was entirely missed /- and no one could figure out where my package was — 3 hrs after the schedule time it still said it was going to be delivered during that scheduled window and “well if our delivery team doesn’t update this we wont be able to know” was the response — not my problem as the consumer — Amazon logistics problem. Figure your stuff out so you can support tour customers and fulfill your obligations within your stated policies .So the wasted day off work bc no one showed up with my bike forced a reschedule on a weekend where I had to mess up my plans to be back to accept delivery when I was out of town originally (bc I wasn’t about to take another day off work). Per their policy I would get a call 30 min before arrival —. Nope didn’t happen. I guess there is no expectation for people working for Amazon logistics deliveries to actually adhere to their internal policies and customer service requirements. They delivered it into my garage - not my front door which presumably my husband told them was fine bc since they didn’t call - I was 10 min away from my house running an errand knowing I did not exceed a radius that would prevent me from being there for delivery if I had received a 30 min warning call. So pretty unacceptable in my opinion. (Side note products delivered by other parties such as Best Buy (purchased through Amazon) I have NEVER had these issues with
