LifeStraw Personal Water Filter

After using this, I'm floored by the number of people giving it top ratings [nearly 120k?]. Were they not very thirsty? Have they ever used another filter? I thought mine was faulty at first. You can barely drink a few sips before it just seems to clog. That's how slow the rate is; suddenly you're just sucking nothing, with sore cheeks. It just stops working. Backflush it and you get another couple sips. (Maybe if the hole was smaller it wouldn't give the false impression that you can simply drink from it like a, y'know.. Straw.) If you purse your lips very small can work better. Still a false promise. Takes way too long to drink more than 6oz of water. Awful Get a Sawyer mini for just a bit more [or better yet a Sawyer Squeeze or Squeeze Micro]. These all have 100x the lifespan, and are infinitely more practical. Put a couple sections of tubing on either end, and you've created a lifestraw that actually works. Or screw them onto a bottle and drink. Or use them as gravity filters, easily making gallons of water FOR MULTIPLE PEOPLE. The Lifestraw is appealing because it's cheap and folks don't know any better. I bought multiples of these as giveaways. I'll feel bad gifting them.
