I can see what I need to fish. If this is their midrange model, I would be scared to see their top end. This picks up hairball, fish and bottom perfectly. Even in 200 feet of water. Don’t get me wrong, much better image the shallower you go. But in 200i see what I need. Recommend for those who don’t have a grand or two to throw at one. There is a learning curve on how to dial everything you need. Lots of options available.

So Far 30Min of use , and screen fail , Maps not loaded as advertised.

I started out and was able to setup within 5 min , but noticed no map details like channel markers that I had on my old unit. This purchased advertised Optional Pre-Loaded Maps . after 30 min out the screen started flashing and trying to blank out, powered down for a min and powered back up , display was good for about 10 min then started flashing again. did this a few more times and same result .. good display for a few min then strobe mode.. trying to get product support now.. will follow up: Follow up Per the Lowrance Web Site , Contact local dealer , well all the local dealers want to charge just to send it back to Lowrance .. Currently on hold with the Lowrance Customer Service .. Long Long wait time ..Update : Lowrance wanted me to hard boot and load current software version .. did that now on the phone with them for warranty validation.. unbelievable run around. purchased product in may of 2023 she says it shows 2021 .. waiting for the bad news they don't want to cover it... they are covering it but hard to get info
