Excellent all-in-one for an occasional skiier
By Ej on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2020
Unfortunately my husband and I only get to go skiing once a year if I'm lucky, so I cannot speak to long-term constant use of this bag. That said, it is well constructed and (so far) quite durable. My items are kept safe and undamaged. However, because we only ski occasionally, I don't want to be fussing with all of my equipment; I want convenience so as to maximize my slope time! This bag makes that possible. My boots (women's size 8 walking shoe) fits well, but so do my husband's boots in his bag (men's size 13). There are convenient panels to keep the boots from smashing into each other. There is also a small metal-reinforced drainage hole built in, so any residual snow has a place to go. I also appreciate that the backpack straps are oriented on the side of the bag with the boots. This places the heaviest equipment closest to my back, whereas the lighter things like my helmet and goggles go in the other side, further away from my body. This is smart. When not in use, the back-pack straps have a pocket to disappear into, so they don't catch on stuff. I also love how many little net-pockets are available on the inside. There is room for *everything* ski related and then some. I was able to fit my helmet, gloves, goggles, about a dozen hand and foot warmers, extra socks, my waterproof shell layer, and about a metric ton of snack bars in there, with LOTS of room to spare. I imagine that if you are a day-trip skier, you could pack everything in here and be done with it (minus your skis or snowboard)! If I had a criticism it would be that I found carrying it by hand (like a briefcase or duffel bag) was a little inconvenient. Not enough to ruin it or detract a star from this review, but this is a bulky bag. Lugging this through an airport meant constant bumping into my leg, but I think that would be true with any boot bag carried in this manner. In summary, I can fit everything in here except the kitchen sink and my dog with room to spare and thus far it looks like it will hold up well to normal wear-and-tear. This bag was designed intelligently and with a nod to convenience.

Good bag but helmet might not fit.

Great bag. Only issue was my helmet doesn't fit in it (Sweet Trooper 2vi) so it gets hooked to the carry handle in backpack mode. Otherwise great bag! Lots of room for gear!
