Best shirts ever!

I adore these cool, trim-looking shirts. I own at least seven and am rarely out of them in the summer. I've even slept in them on train trips and when camping. The black is a dark, saturated color -- subtle and flattering. Here are a few notes or quibbles about these buttery, light-as-air shirts. *I wish the brand tag wasn't so obtrusive, or better yet, not visible. I feel the tag stands out the worst against these black shirts. If this top wasn't branded, I would also make them my office uniform in a heart beat. As is, I sometimes wear under cardigans, but the sweater has to be heavy enough that the tag on front doesn't show through. I've toyed with the idea of removing it using a seam ripper, but haven't been brave enough (or found a cheap enough shirt) to risk trying it yet. I'm not sure the fine (though durable) material would withstand the removal without showing holes/pricks. *I adore the snap buttons. The fact that they match the shirt is part of what makes the shirt so trim/streamlined IMO. I wish that I had discovered these shirts (assuming they existed then) when I was nursing my kids. However, I would caution those purchasing for this use that the snaps come open VERY easily. Handy when sporting an infant in one arm and un-buttoning with another, but probably not ideal when nursing older babies or toddlers who like to tug clothing while they sup. A firm grab in the right spot can tear the shirt right open. However, if paired with enough confidence or a nursing cami, these would be a great toddler/older baby nursing option as well. *I wish that the length was longer, verging into CYA territory. Please, please, please. I in insist that my front and rear are comfortably covered when wearing with leggings/athletic tights, so making these shirts longer would allow me to wear them with all types of bottoms. *Strangely, I need a M in the sleeveless version and a L in the short and long-sleeved versions. No idea why, but I know it's not just me because I've seen other reviews reflecting this difference. I normally wear a M or S. *As a bonus, the back vent camouflages bra lines and bulges.

Wrinkles and not comfortable

I don’t like this shirt. I should’ve sent it back. The material is 100% polyester and doesn’t breathe in the heat and humidity. This isn’t good at all because it’s supposed to be worn for sun protection. It seems like all of Columbia’s SPF shirts arrive with set in wrinkles. I washed it twice and tumble dried it. It didn’t help at all. I finally ironed it and still couldn’t get all of wrinkles out. It also has a boxy look that’s not flattering on women.

I first purchased this in a large but it was too tight around the bust and waist. I usually wear a medium or large in tops. I had to get an extra-large in this shirt. It's really comfy and cute and keeps me cool and protected from the sun. Nice pockets and the color is perfect next to my fair skin.

I bought the shirt because I had one from REI sporting goods store for hiking and needed a few more for a trip. The Amazon picture showed a lavender color but the color name was “Lemon Wash” and it’s pale yellow, not lavender. I kept the yellow because I need it for 4 African safaris and hiking waterfalls. I found out they recommend lighter soft colors instead of bright colors because bright colors can scare the animals away. I also got the Glazed Green color but returned it because it was too bright and the color didn’t look right on me. I was wearing a hot pink sports bra underneath because I just came back from the gym. I intend to wear a nude bra. I’m wearing a Large, my normal size. I’m 5’5”, 190 lbs, but carry my weight in the lower half. I wear a 38 D bra.

These shirts are stylish, light weight, wrinkle free, quick drying, and also UPF protection from even the hot Florida sun. I started buying them in 2021 and three years later I can’t tell the new ones from my old ones. I wish they made a UPF sleeveless shirt out of the same material to wear underneath these shirts. I like to wear them open in the front like a jacket. While wearing I have never felt it was too hot to have on. We spend a couple months in Florida and when I wear these shirts I only need to put sunscreen on my face and hands. If I don’t snap close the sleeves no sunscreen needed on my hands too.

As someone with skin problems, and living in a decently hot climate. Shirts like this are very important. I do like the silver ridge version of this shirt better. However this is a very nice option as well. Nice breathability with the fabric, nice fit. Its more form fitting that I imagined, so if you don't want something that goes in at the waste and want more of a boxy look - go for the Silver Ridge Columbia shirt. I would recommend this to a friend.

Super comfortable! It takes that chill in the air away and dries really quickly. I love how this has zipper side pockets. Sleeves roll up easily too. The snap buttons are easy to snap and unsnap, but I'm not sure if it will begin to pull the fabric and eventually fall off over time, because the snap is sturdy. I would be unable to sew a snap back on also. BUT that is only a future worry. For now it is great and deserves a full 5 star. Also the teal is a really pretty color and half the price as alot of the other colors! As for size, I like things that run a little baggy. With that said, I'm 5'2 and about 140-145 and very curvy in the hips. I got a large and it comes down to mid butt and is fitted but perfect amount of looseness.

Shirt fits well and is excellent for outdoor activities of all types (sun protection, wicks moisture, snaps instead of buttons, easy wash and dry, roll-up sleeves). The Large size is a little loose, which is fine for "activewear", but I may try a Medium for dressier occasions. The zipper pockets in the front "princess" seams are a little uncomfortable and add bulk. I don't use them, but some other reviewers like them. Color is beautiful--light turquoise/aqua. Some slight flaws in the construction/stitching on this color (dangling threads, sewn-in wrinkles, the back flap hangs a little uneven) compared to other colors I ordered (all were made in Vietnam). Or maybe I just noticed them more because the color is so nice. I won't wear this one for gardening.

Very comfortable and lightweight. However runs very small - for reference I am normally a Large in women's clothing and ended up most comfortable in the XXL for this shirt. My mom is a medium/large and busty and was also most comfortable in the XXL.
