Incredibly Easy Assembly and Great Value for a Home Gym!
By Robert Gehring on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2025
I recently purchased the Sunny Health & Fitness Cardio Climber Stepping Elliptical (SF-E3911), and I can’t say enough good things about it! Hands down, the best part of this unit is the ease of assembly. I’ve never seen such a simple and well-thought-out setup process. Each part was clearly marked, and the assembly manual provided step-by-step directions that were a breeze to follow. The parts even came on a piece of cardboard with clearly defined labels AND pictures of the pieces, bolts, washers, etc.—so even after removing them, I could easily identify each item and its corresponding part number. It took me a generous 25 minutes max to assemble, and I’m not particularly handy! Pro tip: Having a 1/2” socket helped with the bolts, though everything you need is included. Once assembled, the unit operates quietly, the computer works perfectly, and the ease of use makes it ideal for a home gym. We opted for the classic version, and it offers plenty of benefits for our goal of 1-2 years of use before upgrading (thanks to the progress we’ll make exercising!) to a more expensive machine or possibly joining a gym. The value for the price is fantastic, and I highly recommend this elliptical/stepper to anyone considering it. Sunny Health & Fitness really hit it out of the park with this one!

You may be injured due to belt issues
By papa smurf on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2022
I wanted to write this review to help people from getting hurt like I did. I bought the machine on 1/1/2022. I had two neck surgeries. I needed to get me a excrsise machine so I could build up my strength and build back up my right arm and hand from the nerve injuries. My doctor wouldn't let me start using it until 26feb2022. Only used it for month and belt came apart. I messaged the company about it and asked if my warranty covered it and they said it was already out of warranty because it is only 30 days and the year was only if a part breaks from faulty part not wear. I told them I had only used it for about a month. He said the problem is there is no way you or we can prove that and I said yes I can by the hospital and my doctor or the home health nurse. He said I will talk to management of returns and warranty. He called me back four hours later and said I am sorry but the warranty starts at the day of purchase. I wish I knew there 1 warranty was not covering the whole machine for faulty parts I wouldn't have purchased it. But I bought the factory belt went to put it on and the new belt with the tensioner off all the way the belt wouldn't let it go far enough to start the mounting bolts to align up. So I called and asked them if they were sure they sent me the wright belt and they said yes and I explained that the belt was so tight I couldn't push it in enough to start the bolts. He said it will be hard to align up do to being new. I had to use a racket strap to put it on. I have been a mechanic in the army for 12 years and when I was on medical leave I had to do certain jobs for a year in my line of work to prove I was ready to return to active duty and I got a job thru the temp service I was using. The job was trouble shooting the machines and getting them fixed and I worked on all kind of brands of exercise machines for 8 months and I was a mechanic on wheels and track vehicles. I know if a belt is so tight the tensioner bolts won't line up without using a strap it's going to mess something up. About 12 days ago I was doing my last stretch of exercise workout and I Am doing it at a fast pace. All of a sudden my right pedal let loose so fast I fell into the machine and then hit the floor. I thought the belt broke but instead the main wheel on the shaft stripped and let go. I hurt my arm, wrist, knee and ribs. I sprained my knee, wrist and ankle. Plus I pulled the ligments in my ribs on the right side. I was in my fast pace when it happened and that's why I got hurt plus concrete floors. I think it's unfair that I haven't even had it a year yet. I am a disabled veteran and paid for it myself and money is tight and I have bought a lot of items from Amazon and this is the first item I couldn't get help with. They act like I shouldn't be complaining since it only cost me $300. But to me it is a lot of money. Plus I don't want to see someone else get hurt.
