Cheapest, but the best 😎

Fantastic I couldn’t ask for a better red dot for the price. I’ve already ran about 5 to 600 rounds through it and I still haven’t had to adjust the dots at all. It stayed zeroed the whole time. With the metal shroud around it taking the brunt, I can also rack it against the table. People talk crap because it’s polymer, but most guns now are mostly polymer. It made my gun a lot lighter and it didn’t break my bank.

Terrible design

Battery is not captured, just in between slide and sight unless you use the included thin metal "shield". Two sets of screws included. One set is for mounting to P365(?) I guess. The screws have unthreaded shoulders that act like bushings inside the red dot base. The ones for the Sig mount pass thru the holes in the base like they should. The other 6-32 screws also have bushing/shoulders and do not pass thru the base properly. I was told by Sig tech support to "just push them thru". That is what I did and they just spin in my S&W Shield with optics cut. I found some 6-32 switch plate screws that work for now. I am going to zero the sight if possible and run 50 rnds thru pistol to see what happens. The only controls are/is a button inside the tombstone just this side of the glass (?) You can supposedly use it to turn off and on and adjust brightness. The brightness adjust does work. Accessing that button is whole nuther issue. My man fingers cannot access the button. I have been using a flat screwdriver blade. Not ideal and neither is the placement of the button. Probably the absolute WORST place they could have possibly put it. The MOTACS does work but I see the adjustment of the brightness of the dot being very problematic. There is no brightness level that will work for all conditions so being able to adjust it quickly would be necessary for any red dot. That is not going to happen here. You get what you pay for and sometimes what you think is a tool turns out to be a toy. No way I would bet my life on this thing.
