The RW900 has more features than I realized.
By Valdemar on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2020
This NordicTrack RW900 is fantastic workout equipment especially with the 22" monitor. The visuals make a huge difference in satisfaction. I am glad I went with this model. It's definitely easy to setup and configure with fitness membership. It is best to have someone help to setup the monitor while the other person positions and tightens the fittings. Some assembly is required but not much and it is definitely worth it. We set this up in the garage so I got out my toolbox and a towel to sit on while assembling the few parts. Right after setup I got on it to try it out. There are pre-loaded workouts. I tried the rowing on open water and then I started the weekly studio challenges and I absolutely love it. Rowing definitely targets the legs, core, chest and back muscles. The studio workout also includes floor exercises that target all over body. Today I am happily sore from my glutes, hamstrings to chest and arms from the workout yesterday and I can start to see the difference in my body since using the RW900 for a month. I can only imagine the difference in 3 months to a year. Every new workout is a great challenge. Oh, and if you pause to switch or decide not to do a specific workout, you can delete it so it does not impact your records. The sound option allows you to increase or decrease audio for music or instructor. This allows me to choose my own music for workouts and enjoy the instructors motivation and direction seamlessly. This has been a fantastic investment especially since COVID-19 hit us this year. Invest in your health and fitness by getting this RW900 and you'll be glad you did because it's worth it and so are you.

Screen Died In 1 Week
By Rob B. on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2020
The rower and iFit are great but the screen literally died after 1 week of use. I called NordicTrack (NT) tech support and after being on the phone with them for an hour they agreed to send me a new screen free of charge. I opened up the screen to see what had happened internally and the logic board was visibly burnt out. The whole issue I have is the screen is on back order so I am probably not going to get it for 2-4 weeks which is BS as the rower is pretty much useless without this screen and the thing cost $1,600. I asked NT tech support if this was an ongoing problem and they gave me a BS answer that it isn't and that the reason it is on back order is because it is there most busiest time of the year.......I am pretty sure this is going to be an ongoing problem with this monitor. If you are looking for a rower and want a screen like this one I would look at the Hydrow or a Concept machine as I believe you can connect an external monitor to some of the Concept machines.....this is what I would do if I had to do it all over again. **UPDATE** Talked to NT tech support again this week and they told me that the new screen would take 2 or more months to receive............they blamed it on the coronavirus this time. I told them this was unacceptable and they I wanted some sort of discount off the cost of the rower or another year free of iFit. they told me they would not do this. After my call I decided to return this and opted to purchase a Concept 2 Model D paired with an iPad Air2 and Arkon Tablet Mount and I haven't been more pleased. The Concept 2 not only runs better but it has apps that you can utilize that allow the monitor (PM5) to bluetooth directly to the iPad so it functions just like RW900. The other thing I like about the Concept 2 Model D is it is built like a tank and has no frills (no electric, no touch screen controlling the entire unit, etc.) so it should last a long time unlike the RW900.
