Way more "pros" than "cons". Great device!
By Rayne on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2020
So I originally purchased "the OTHER fitness tracker" but returned it because it was not accurate at all and was absolutely over reporting my steps. Pros of Xiaomi Mi Band 4: -Color display -The ability to change the display by adding pictures, which changes the look of the display items -Accuracy - The Mi band is more accurate than not. I have noticed that at times, it doesnt add your steps right away, but if you look back at your steps within few mins, you'll noticed it's added. Some owners of the Mi Band have stated that they feel it is inaccurate when counting steps by under reporting (not counting all steps). However, for me, I'd rather have a device that under reports my steps than over reports my steps. If it under reports then it still motivates me to try to do more steps to reach my goal. If it over reports, you'll end up doing less because you think you've reached your goal. The over reporting happened to be with the "other fitness tracker." -Map - When you start an exercise THROUGH THE Mi Fit APP, NOT DIRECTLY FROM THE Mi Band, you're able to see a map of where you exercised, the distance you have traveled, speed. Once completed with the exercise, it shows you a very thorough summary of your exercise: the times you sped up or slowed down are indicated by color, the number of step, your adage heart rate, etc. - Notifications- It notifies you when you have been inactive for a certain amount of time by vibrating. - Charging - To charge the device, simply stretch out the band and push out the watch, align the charger ports on watch with the charging ports on the charger and plug it in. - Battery- This battery last for a VERY LONG TIME. the longest time I've gone without charging is almost 1 month. The more you use the heart rate feature, the quicker the battery will drain. Cons: - I wish it kept a log or track of your when you start an exercise in the app. Some time I would like to go back and compare with other days by checking to see if i did more or less steps with that exercise or my average heart rate,, but I can't. Once you finish an exercise and exit the app, it erases. - Find my device - I've only had to do this once, but it wsnt helpful at all because when you click "find my device" all it does is vibrate and its not even a continuous vibrating until you find it. Way more pros than cons with this device and you will not be disappointed.

Broken After Six Months
By nikki on Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2021
This fitness tracker was great for the first five months, but now it barely registers a third of my steps. I always remove my tracker before showering, so the issue isn't from getting it wet. I don't know if mine is just defective, but I'm now hesitant to buy another Mi Band.
