Great Running and Walking shoe - Bring it back!

I'm disappointed to discover that New Balance has discontinued this shoe model because I have a high arch and it provided excellent support. Hope you will bring it back or have a newer version in the stores and online soon. I just purchased what I believe were my last two pairs of the 940 v4 in December, and when I need a new pair in probably April or May because I use them a lot for exercise I will have to consider other options that are reasonably priced. The 940 V4 was a very popular shoe in the local store I purchased them at and was often not in stock online, so it has my head sctraching that New Balance would want to discontinue them, but if the idea is to get someone who has been an avid supporter to buy a more expensive model, think again. I may consider taking my business elsewhere.

While I still love New Balance shoes, I feel that the quality has slipped a little

OK. Let me say that I still love my NB shoes, and have purchased four pair within the last year. With that said, I have noticed a few issues that have made me disappointed. First, the cushioning on the heal has come loose on one of my pair of shoes. Second, my newest pair has a spot on the right shoe that rubs my big toe. Before you say it must be the design of the shoe, remember that I have three other pairs just like it. I don't want to run them in the ground. I am in my early 50's and have bought their shoes since my teenage years. I love the brand and am just concerned about the quality slipping. For the moment, I will continue to purchase their shoes. However, if this doesn't turn around, I will be forced to look elsewhere....
