5 day 85 degree weather camping trip and still had ice
By D Sully on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2025
Bought mine in 2019 and now it’s 2025. Just took it on a 5 day camping trip, 85 degree weather, and kept ice. Day 6 when I unpacked from camping it still had ice in it. It’s held up to camping trips, fishing trips, lake days, etc. I had to replace the drain cap because it got ripped off and lost during a move. Color and size are perfect for my needs. Only add on I’d like is wheels, but I didn’t buy that model so I can’t complain. Issues with ice melting is usually from lack of experience packing a cooler.

Great cooler functionally, but lid hinge broke after a few uses
By Stephanie M. Rzeszutko on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2025
This cooler works really well to keep things cold for up to a week if you throw a few solid blocks of ice in with your food/drinks/ice! Unfortunately, after my second trip carrying it on a hitch rack on the back of my vehicle, both screws on one of the two hinges worked their way out. The other side is still attached no issue - not sure if this was a manufacturing fault or if the road vibrations were just too much for it. I’ll be contacting Igloo and hopefully getting a fix - it really is a great cooler otherwise, and I have a smaller version (a 25qt) in this line that is really rugged and has held up to a lot of abuse just fine!
