We have a thoroughbred mare . She has a small head. We ordered the smaller size. It fit perfectly and is easy to put on and take off. Great fly mask!

Comfort fly masks are flimsy

These fly masks might work well for horses in stalls that are not in contact with anything that can hook them or other horses that can pull them off. The concept is great, but the materials are just too flimsy and tear easily. If they were less flimsy, it would be very necessary to check on the lower and bottom of the cheek bones for rubs, because they depend upon a tight fit in those areas. I have some horses that can use them, but mostly, they are ripped up in a week.
