Good and Bad
By Marie on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2024
I like a lot about these chairs. They are easy to tote in their carry bag, and aren't too cumbersome or heavy for what they are. The rocking motion is really nice, and is very pleasant. My complaint with this chair is the design of the seat. First of all, there's no reclining back at all. The back is only in one position, and when rocking, your body naturally wants to push back to more reclining and that is not possible. The second issue is that the seat is too narrow. There's no adjustment to the part where your bum goes, and it is a similar shape and experience to those old school childhood swing sets with the black piece of hard rubber that hangs there in a U shape. It pinches the sides of your bottom in the same way. It's fine to sit in it for a little while, but after a while it is uncomfortable. I don't have a large bum either. I'm a woman who is 5' 9" tall and 135 lbs. So even though we have two of these, when we camp, we more fight over the other two lounger chairs that we haul along even though they are heavy, cumbersome, and large to transport. They are just much more comfortable in the end. If I had known this info, I would not have bought these.
