Get the right size, then walk, run or lift!

It's difficult to find athletic shoes in Wide that fit the forefoot but don't slip on heels. Brooks Womens Addiction 14 in 8 Wide offer great support with snug heel and comfortable large/high toe box. These are comfortable all day; working/walking/jogging on pavement, walking on treadmill, exercising in the gym. This particular style is stable and firm in feel, but nicely cushioned. Excellent shoes from Brooks.

Comfortable, not long-lasting

First, these are by FAR the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had for my hypermobile feet. The extra support feels great! Unfortunately, they have a big hole in the cloth after seven months of occasional use. I've probably worn them a total of 25 times, which for me for a $130 shoe is not a great tradeoff. So if cost is not a factor for you, these are great. You just may end up needing to replace them sooner than you'd like.
