First time I used it was setting up in the dark as rain was coming in. The entire weekend was fridgid 30-40+ mph wind-driven rain. Minus the sounds of everyone else's tents and equipment getting blown about, I was at peace, warm and dry with my gear safe and accessible under the roomy vestibules. 4 years and 40+ nights of weather ranging from single to triple digits, it still performs beautifully. A bit heavy for backpacking, but well worth it if canoeing or towing on a sled when winter camping in MN. No it doesn't have the flaps on the bottom edge of the fly to put rocks/etc on to fully block the wind (using a trench or piling up a bit of snow works instead), but between the full & highly adjustable fly and screen interior that can be fully zipped or opened this tent has been the envy of many who paid 2-5 times the sub-100 sale price I paid for their less versitile tents from bigger premium brands. While still using the original stakes with nearly every campout, depending when/where I'm headed, I do supplement with both a set of longer/high visibility landscape-spikes and some ultralight molded aluminum stakes that perform well in sand/snow. Venting, ties, loops zippers etc all placed where someone who has spent a lot of time in tents would want them. When unzipped the window&door panels tuck nicely against the screen - I saw a review for the 4-person Yellowstone noting the flaps sag too much into the tent's interior - and I could see that as a possibility with the added width and fabric volume, but on the 2 person model it is not an issue. Over the years I've used and owned many tents bigger, smaller, cheaper and pricier, but this is my year round go-to tent.

A well made tent but not for me
By Cody on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2018
I bought this tent to use in an upcoming two week trip to the Washington and Oregon coasts but returned it and ordered a Kelty instead. It is well made but like other reviewers I had problems with the connectors and set up. The poles are excellent and sturdy but the metal ball end fits into a concave dish in the plastic tent clip. If it isn't firmly placed until it clicks it will pop out which happened the first time I erected it. That plastic clip is also the fastener for the rainfly which clicks on to the end of the clip I had difficulty clipping it in place and removing it. A reflective loop is then used for securing the tent with its stakes. The tent is secured at the top of the dome by sliding a clip onto a clear plastic fastener. I felt this system would not withstand constant put up and take down and would be difficult to erect in windy conditions. I also didn't like the storage design for the tent sides when unzipped for ventilation. There are no ties so the top simply fits into the bottom. This is a small tent, I wouldn't recommend it for more than two people and anyone sleeping next to the side will find the sagging side in their face. Ditto for the storage pockets. Anything stored there could fall out. The repair kit is simply squares of tent material and an aluminum tube. There are no directions for use and no adhesive material. I tried to seal a seam with the sealer but it was so thick I couldn't get it to apply properly. The stakes are not very substantial and wouldn't work in soil where they needed to be hammered in. I camp in the Rocky Mountains and the desert southwest, both of which require substantial stakes. On the positive side, the materials are of excellent quality, especially the rainfly which is heavy and well coated. The bathtub floor is thin but seems to be made with a very tough material.Bottom line if you camp in a low wind area with lots of rain and soft soil this would be a good tent. Just don't plan on more than two adults using it.
