These sneakers do not slip on my heels, they have durably lasted me many months, have durably survived different types of weather such as rain, fit my feet perfectly, are comfortable and not stiff, and are not heavy. These are very nice shoes. Most likely next time I will buy slightly different Columbia shoes, just in the interest of wearing black instead of brown.

I have some great waterproof Columbia hiking boots I love, and I was hoping for a similar experience with these, but was disappointed. They look great, and for somebody with the right foot shape they may feel just right, but not for me, even with a better insole. I had also ordered a pair of Saucony trail shoes for about the same price, and while I prefer the Columbia's looks, the fit of the Saucony is amazing out of the box without any heel slippage , nice arch support and cushioning underfoot- everything the Cs were lacking. Will they last as long as the Columbias? Probably not.
