Soges Adjustable Dumbbells Set

The item itself is fairly nondescript. It's a generic sand weight set, the quality of which I'd say is a little better than those old vinyl ones you've probably seen in someones Dad's basement. Adding weight in this way is economical. The adjustable bar and joiner set means you can use this in a couple of different configurations which is novel and makes it easier to store in a smaller living situation. I can't really find too much fault in the item itself. However: It arrived missing significant amounts of parts and just tossed in a box, documentation, no care made so the weights weren't flopping around. Just weights, bars, and threaded stoppers all tossed in a box with packing paper. The seller was able to address the issue by sending replacement parts separately but BOTH times the items arrived poorly packed. Because of its weight, if I were to return it I would have to take it to my nearest UPS drop off point. That's right, take these poorly and dangerously packed weights and go make a trip some play to address it. From what I've been reading in the lesser popular reviews, this is a fairly common problem. First time: Bulk weights and bar tossed into a large box with packing paper with no organization, separation etc. Second time: Very small box arrived damaged, plastic packing ties barely holding it together and packed in some sort of packing bag. I got lucky, but nothing was lost in shipment.
