Purchased this rod for my 83 year old mother who loves to fish. Got the shortest size as she is only five feet tall and mated it with a closed face reel. We fished every morning for a week in Northern Wisconsin where she caught a dozen panfish daily and several good sized bass. Rod worked great. Nice color too.

First time using this rod and it literally snapped in half. I was using braided line so was able to pull the small mouth in by hand. It was a 1lb bass. Snapped when I pulled him out and the full weight of the fish was on the rod. Cruddy rod.
