The ball came in already pumped full of air, it looks very nice and well designed. I came on good condition.

Way smaller than a Youth football

If you are looking for a good toy football for an 8-year old, this seems nice. It has a lot of grip, and the weight makes me think it is pretty thick and durable. However, this is NOT a youth-size football. It is the size of a Nerf football. I bought it for my 7th grader as an off-season replacement for his good ball, because I didn't feel like spending $50 on a ball he leaves out in the yard until it doesn't hold air. I have found footballs wear out quickly when left overnight in the yard, unlike basketballs. I am guessing it is the shape. This ball is way too small for him. They should change the description to 'Pee Wee' Football.
