Great action for the price and is great for pitching lures of all sizes within reason. Haven’t caught a monster with it yet but has yet to give me any issues no eyes on the rod have gone bad and the reel seat is still in great shape I’ll have to get another here soon.

Rod bent in half on second use on small fish

I ordered this rod for my daughter. A 5'6" Light action 2 piece. Second time using it and the rod bent in half while fighting a small nothern pike last night. It didn't even break, it just bent right in half on the top section of the 2 piece rod. Pretty disappointing. The rod has been handled well, barely used. Stored in a rod locker in a rod sleeve so I feel strongly this is a manufacturer defect. It bent right where a guide was attached.
