Good quality product within a decent price
By SAIYED TARIQ ALI on Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2018
This is my replacement because the prior one that I received was damaged. It came in a good condition and it is a great product. First of all the "Bear" brand at such a low price. In the stores, it is about $349+tax. I did not fire it yet but I can feel the strength. It has a nice weight a little bit heavier but not much. It is well balanced and came lubed and waxed. The scope is ok but decent enough for a crossbow. Easy to assemble but instructions are on some steps not clear. It is supposed to be colored pictures and more detailed illustrations. It is good for serious hunting to just target shooting. Please always follow the company's recommendations and instructions. For the bolts, the minimum is 360 grains and no less than that is recommended. The customer service is great also and a very good warranty. I highly recommend this product. It will be good if it has a crank cocking device option to install. Currently, I am not able to install any.

Buyer beware!

Love the adjustability. Can't beat the warranty or price. Super fast and powerful, reasonably quiet but at this speed, I don't believe that matters much. Scope and scope mount is total crap, shoots very. low even when the elevation is maxed out. spent at least an hour trying to work this scope before I gave up. Fortunately, I had another scope laying around. the Achilles heel of this package but what do you expect for $230? a little bit front heavy but still very manageable. Cocking ropes starting to slightly fray after about 20-30 shots. The accesories they give you are obviously not great at this price point but the bow itself is great. Overall solid. If you are on a budget, looking to get your first crossbow or have some decent accessories laying around I would reccomend it. UPDATE: Today is the first day of archery season in my state. I cocked the bow at 6 am and packed up around 930 am. I went to uncock it into a standard archery target with the provided bolts and feild points and the string exploded. The rail was lubed and the strings were waxed and the bolts and points are obviously manufacturer recommended. This bow is barely 3 weeks old and its totally wrecked. I called Bear and they said that they would warranty the string but that I'd have to take it to an archery shop, have them order the string in and put it on and that they would probably charge me labor for this. WHAT A HASSLE! Maybe I got a defective product but in any event, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed.
