Best seat for people with bigger bottoms
By Review on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2022
So here is the deal. My wife and I both bought these seats and wanted to give them a good workout before leaving a review. We now have 1,500 miles each on these seats so now we can provide an honest review. Bottom line these seats are incredible and will be game changing for the bigger fellows and curvy women whether you got some wide birthing hips or are packing on a little extra love. My wife and I started biking to get in shape as between the pandemic and having two children we had packed on some serious weight and knew it had to go to keep up with our young kids who also like bike riding. I was 385lbs, 6 foot 2 as that time and my wife was 185lbs 5 foot 2. First couple of rides on our new bikes and we could barely walk. The stock "extra wide" seats they came with resulted in an extremely sore backs and bottoms and for me numb legs. As man with, umm, let's say some baggage between my legs there as a lot of discomfort in that area as well. We knew we had to replace the seats but no local bike shop offered anything bigger so we turned to amazon and found this. Install was super easy on both of our bikes and within minutes of riding we knew we had a winner. We rode 8 miles and both came back with zero backside pain, leg pain and for me manhood pain. We have since put over 1,500 miles on the seats each and just bought two more for our new road bikes as we have both slimmed down and gotten addicted to riding. So now I'm at 265lbs and my wife is down to 110lbs. Even though we look sort of stupid on these super thin road bikes with giant seats we don't care the comfort can't be matched by any other seat on the market. In terms of durability we have done many miles on trials with just rocks as the base and even some that were just dirt and the added springs of these seats really helped out. We have not noticed any degrading of the seat material and it feels just as thick and supportive as the day we bought them and that is confirmed by comparing them to the two new ones we had ordered. If your looking for a quality seat that is super wide and extremely comfortable you have found it. Doesn't matter if you are male or female this seat works perfectly.

MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT, but overall a decent seat.

**I HAVE NOT TESTED/INSTALLED SEAT YET AND WILL REVISE MY REVIEW ONCE I HAVE** In several of the pictures, it explicitly advertises and states that it has an LED strip on it, but also says it has reflective tape on it. I assumed that must have meant that it had both??? Nope!! The reflective strip that is in the place of the advertised LED strip is somewhat reflective, but nothing even remotely special. There IS a separate high vis strip of fabric that can be attached, which is appreciated, although I'm confused as to how it's supposed to mount to the seat. Oh well. I wouldn't be so miffed, especially considering the material itself is very comfortable. I have NOT applied it to my bike yet, because I don't have mine yet, but I will update this review with feedback about installation and actual long time use. Overall, a good seat. Just don't put so much emphasis on the fact that there's a super reflective strip/LED when in all reality, neither of those statements are really that true. The picture shows bright rear LEDs blatantly shining, and those are nowhere to be found. The LED was supposed to be the most effective safety measure, and was one of my biggest reason for buying. With small details like this, I usually take off one star, but I don't think it's fair to blatantly advertise LEDs and then send a product that doesn't actually HAVE the LEDs. A battery, a tiny circuit, a piece of plastic, and three red LEDs doesn't cost an arm and a leg to ACTUALLY include in your product. Especially if you're gonna advertise it like that. Comfort: 8/10 Value: 6/10 Estimated Ease of Use (have not installed or tested yet): 8/10 Honesty/consistency: 2/10
