Amazing customer service for a great product!
By Chooby on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2018
Loves: -clean, simplistic, minimal design -size is nice and big -numbers are easy to read -Innotech customer service is amazing! Having said that, the scale I received horrifyingly came with tiny, short little hairs all over it. Like men's body hair or dare I say it- pubes. 😭 The package was also missing extra batteries, but that is nothing compared to the mess of the hairs. I entirely blame this on Amazon. Amazon should not be re-selling used, or damaged, or unhygienic products when the product is clearly being sold as new! Very unprofessional. Well, I got my refund from Amazon on this item. But I also contacted the seller explaining what had happened, and they immediately apologized, took accountability for everything, and sent me (directly from their factory in Texas) a brand new scale at no charge at all. I mean, come on! Who does that now a days? How amazing are they! It's rare that companies do this anymore. Customer service- cream of the crop. The scale I received from them came brand NEW, along with TWO extra batteries and a manual. It works perfectly, and the measurement is exact when compared to my other amazing scale- the etekcity digital bodyweight scale. On point. If you really like this scale, buy it. Amazon might send you a dud- but if you contact Innotech, they will make it right and send you a quality scale. All in all, great looking scale, great quality & build, but above all, THE BEST customer service out there. Would definitely purchase from again. Thanks Innotech!

Would love to give this scale a 5
By JoyceB on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2018
Would love to give this scale a 5, but it has one - and only one - flaw that I can see: it runs off of very expensive, short-lived disc batteries. I had to replace them within a few months of getting this scale. Considering I had never replaced them in my old unit, which lasted quite a long time, I was surprised. I purchased the scale at the end of July. I had to replace the batteries about 4 months later. I use the scale no more than 2 times per day. So that means that I'm looking at 3 sets of batteries a year, which is about 12 bucks a year if I buy the 2 packs. I understand that AA batteries require more space, and limit design possibilities, but, ultimately, I'd rather not pay 12 bucks a year for batteries for a scale. Makes me think that maybe it's time to look for an old spring scale - not super precise, but at least I won't need to feed it's battery habit for the next 20 years. As for the scale, it is excellent. Close to floor with short legs placed near periphery, so not much scale jumping when you catch an edge. Screen is bright. Platform for your feet is very large. No Taring the scale, which is nice. Numbers easy to read. No extraneous BS. Just get on, there's your weight. Reproduces the same weight if you get on multiple times. Assuming that that's not programmed (would not be surprised), then that's what you're looking for in a scale. Overall, would not buy again, but if you're willing to spend the money on batteries, it's a great scale.
