Osprey Fairview 55L Women's Backpack S/M

I purchased this bag to essentially use the bottom part as carry on and my day pack as my personal item and be able to travel around easily without checking in a bag as we were going traveling through South America . I was a bit worried the airlines might not allow them as carry on items given the size because I read mixed reviews . I have this bag and my husband has the Farpoint 55 for men the black one on the right as seen in the picture ( essentially the men’s version of this one ) . We had no problems traveling on delta and American Airlines ! They allowed us to carry them as carry ons and even once at the gate they were going to do complimentary check in free of cost if we wanted to , but they fit perfectly in the overhead bin as you can see , but I did unzip the day pack and had under the seat in front of me since all my travel essentials were in there like headphones snacks etc. the bags fit perfectly and we had no problems at all getting through tsa and having people bother us about checking in our bag, they said it was perfectly carry on size. I just wanted to post this review as I didn’t see much information about this when I was in totally buying the bag. I’m so glad I got this bag! Worked incredible for the trip of 3 weeks, durable , plenty of room, and I even had room in there for souvenirs.3 pairs of shoes and all my other essentials. Hope this is helpful!
